About BabyBliss routines
Our 24 hour baby routines can make a huge difference to you and your baby. These gentle routines provide a helpful rhythm to the day rather than a rigid clock-watching schedule. They give you a plan to follow for sleeping, feeding and activity for your baby.
Structure and routine make children less anxious because, if they know what to expect, they become more cooperative as they feel they have some control over situations.
Our routines give you exclusive access to a step by step approach for yours and your baby’s day that has been developed over 15 years of settling babies.
Below you’ll find more information about routine and ritual for children and at the bottom of the page, recommended sleep times and tired signs.
Routine and Ritual
Routine and ritual means that something is repeated and reinforced. Routines structure the way we handle the things in a child’s life like waking, eating, bath time, bedtime etc.
We do a lot of these rituals unconsciously. These rituals enable a child to understand what’s coming next, what they can expect and what is expected of them. It helps them make better sense of the world around them.
It is never too early to start a baby routine. Routines help babies self-settle and be great sleepers. It also helps children deal with separation from their parents and allows them to feel secure and safe.
